- Crisis Response Actions including Ship Release
-
The Situation - Our client's staff and asset have been held hostage in a remote location by a criminal gang and law enforcement agencies are unable to reach and release them.
-
Our Task - The management of the final procedures for release of a client’s assets and staff from a difficult, potentially violent and extremely stressful environment
-
Our Action
- Liaison with our client's response consultant on the appropriate procedures to be adopted which may involve the delivery of facilitation payments
- The development of a detailed plan which will enable the release to be effected which may involve operations by land, sea or air
- Effective liaison with criminals of very different cultural backgrounds which requires firm but sensitive release procedures which can be understood by both sides
- Management and coordination of several teams each with different roles to play
-
The Result -
- The safe release of the client’s staff and assets from the criminal gang
- The staff and client will have a better understanding of how to deal with criminals and dangerous situations should such a situation occur again
- The client will be able to establish safety measures to mitigate the risk of such situations reoccurring
- We will assist the client in setting up a detailed and thorough operational planning system which will reduce risk situations
- Experience - Case Studies
-
Our experience in the region on land, sea or in the air,
like our clients' risk, is diverse.
